I completed my Advanced Nitrox and Deco Procedures with Helitrox courses with Tim during 2 different stays in Puerto Galera, Philippines. Tim is a natural instructor. He is very patient, detailed, and explains complex subject matter in a logical manner which is easy to understand. His passion for the sport, and technical diving in particular, is contagious. He is committed to his student’s success in every course but above all, their safety. He has a “no compromises” approach to teaching which is, of course. critical for the “dangerous” activity of deep technical dives with obligatory staged decompression stops. Dangerous activities does not mean they are unsafe, Tim teaches how to enjoy the sport with the utmost safety. He offers constructive criticism in a logical and friendly manner that the student is happy to receive. That is the true mark of a gifted instructor.
I have done at least a dozen specialty diving courses with various instructors over the last 2 years. I’ve learned more from Tim in the few days it took to complete these Tech Courses than all the other courses/instructors combined. I STRONGLY recommend Tim to anyone who wants to pursue advanced diving skills. I look forward to many more courses and dives with Tim as I progress through my diving journey.

I completed my Helitrox, Advanced Nitrox, and Technical DPV courses with Tim in Puerto Galera, Philippines. Tim is a highly capable and deeply knowledgeable instructor, and it was a pleasure to learn from him.
Stepping into the world of technical diving felt intimidating at first, but Tim’s teaching approach made the transition smooth. He broke down complex concepts into manageable, practical elements and scaled the difficulty progressively over the week. By the end of the course, we had completed several successful tech dives together – and earning the certifications.
Tim is incredibly patient, offers constructive and actionable feedback, and was always ready to answer the many questions I threw at him. His calm demeanor, safety-first mindset, and clear communication created an ideal learning environment.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can’t recommend Tim highly enough to anyone considering technical dive training.

I just finished DPV course from Tim & he guided me for several deco dives with the DPV. I had a super great experience learning from him!
I appreciated most his patience, never rushed me and make sure I am ready and feel comfortable before moving on.
He’s also super fit, which is pretty inspiring when you’re doing some of the tougher dives. He’s always willing to teach and happy to answer any questions, which made the whole learning process way less stressful.
I highly recommend Tim to anyone looking to advance their technical diving skills with an instructor who is patient, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about his craft.

we wanted to do Advanced Nitrox, Deco Procedures and sidemount with Tim at Tech Asia in Puerto Galera. We are not too experienced divers and had to modify our plans after the first day of diving as we were not ready yet. Tim is a very professional instructor who always stayed calm and guided us through our first journey in tec diving.
No matter whether it is basics or some really nerdy tec stuff – Tim is the man for it 👌

Tim and I had a great week diving. He taught me how to use a tech dpv. We had 9 dives scootering around all the dive sites in Porto Gallera, all the way down to 60m. He showed me a unlimited supply of thresher sharks, way more than I saw in Malapascua. Tim’s navigation skill is as precious as a gps sat nav underwater. He always knows where to go and which direction to travel, even in featureless plain sand bottom. And that always get us to some outstanding shallow reef for the deco, the best coral I’ve seen anywhere. Thanks Tim for the great week, I recommend anyone who’s tech certified to go diving with him!

I had the chance of training with Tim for the TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures course from 28 December 2023 to 2 January 2024. His patience, attention to details, and friendliness created a very positive learning environment. Moreover, he was very committed to go beyond the course material, to answer all my questions, and to share practical insights that definitely enriched my understanding. I recently got the opportunity to spend a week with Tim, while he was teaching a Tech student.
His course structure is great. The way he builds upon the online theory is easy to understand and enjoyable to learn and gives you the confidence to apply the knowledge in to practice.
Similarly with the practical elements of learning tech diving, Tim’s explanations and briefings for the practical skills are clear and straightforward; giving you the confidence to go forward and carry out the skills, following his clean and crisp demonstrations.
Tim’s commitment to develop the finer details of tech diving is exemplary and definitely rubs off on his students in every way.I thoroughly enjoyed learning from Tim and I highly recommend anyone wanting to get in to tech diving to have a conversation with him and book training; whether your starting out or looking to level up your skils.

It’s a great time to take Tim’s technical diving courses of Intro, Advanced Nitrox & Deco Procedure! I really enjoy this one week with such a rigorous and serious teacher with top-level skills and high standards. He might be a little bit “tough” for an experience of recreational diving, however, if you want to be a “specialist” in certain area, he is absolutely the right person!

I completed my Advanced Open Water course with Tim as my instructor, and it was a fantastic experience! Tim is a consummate professional; he showed time and time again that he is both an extremely skilled diver and a thoughtful instructor. His bredth of knowledge about the science behind diving is extensive, and he is happy to share his knowledge with students. As a fairly new diver, there were moments in the course when slightly adverse conditions (current, etc.) would have made me nervous if not for Tim’s calm and confident approach. I would recommend a course with Tim to anyone; I felt that I came away from the course with a friend, and I would definitely put my life in his hands under water again!
